Biography
Abdullah Yousuf Usmani completed his Bachelor of Technology degree from Aligarh Muslim University, at the department of Mechanical Engineering. In 2010, he graduated with a first class degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was then granted a scholarship by UGC, India for qualifying GATE and completed his Master of Technology degree from Aligarh Muslim University, at the Fluid and Thermal section. In 2012, he graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His research interests involve design of geometries that mimic arterial vasculatures, Flow Imaging in diseased human vasculatures, Flow-structure interactions pertaining to arterial flows, Heat transfer in Biological systems such as laser irradiation of tissues. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
