Biography
Dr. Ahmad Ali Khan belongs to Gorakhpur and did his B. Sc. Engineering, M. Sc. Engineering from AMU Aligarh and Ph D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK), India. Currently he is Professor, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, AMU Aligarh, India and has more than twenty six years of teaching experience both at PG and UG level and guided several M. Tech. Dissertations. He belongs to the group of Machine Design (Solid Mechanics). His area of interest includes Non-linear Dynamics, System Identification, Parameter Estimation and Smart Structures. He has got several papers published in International as well as National Journals and Conference proceedings in this area. The International Journal includes Journal of Sound and Vibration, Journal of Nonlinear Dynamics, Journal of Probabilistic Engineering Mechanics, Journal of Advances in Vibration Engineering etc. He has reviewed different books and papers of different Journals as well. Further he has attended several conferences and also chaired sessions both at National and International conferences of repute including abroad as well.
