Biography
Dr. Asif Khan carried out his postgraduate studies and Ph. D at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He was awarded Ph.D. (Dec-2013) in Mathematics in the area of Approximation Theory on the topic ''Some Approximation Theorems via Statistical Convergence" under supervision of Prof. M. Mursaleen. Apart from this, he did M.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology (Degree:Jan-2010) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He joined the Department of Mathematics, A.M.U Aligarh as an Assistant professor on 03 Feb, 2014. His research Interest is in the field of Approximation theory, Computer Aided Geometric Design, Functional stability etc. Teaching Interest: Have instructed number of courses at under graduate level which include Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Advance Calculus, Linear algebra, Set theory, C-Programming, MATLAB, Real analysis, Metric Spaces, Topology, Topological vector spaces and Algebraic Topology. He has published 21 research papers (18 SCI and 3 E-SCI-Listed) in international refereed journals, prominent.Dr. Asif Khan carried out his postgraduate studies and Ph.
