Biography
Athar Ali Moinuddin obtained B. Sc. (1994), M. Sc. (1997) and Ph. D (2010) degrees, all in Electronics Engineering from Z. H. College of Engineering & Technology, AMU, Aligarh, India. During his doctoral work, he received Commonwealth Split-Site Scholarship for one year (2007-2008) to conduct collaborative research at Multimedia Networking Laboratory, University of Essex, UK. He has authored/co-authored 34 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings of international repute. His research area includes, low complexity Image/Video Coding, Standard Image/Video Codecs, Image/Video Communications and Wireless Communications. He is a member of IEEE (USA), IAEng (Hong Kong), and IETE (India).
