Biography

Almas Zaidi, received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Microbiology from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India and currently serving as Guest faculty/Assistant Professor at the Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She has been teaching Microbiology at post graduate level since 2001 and has research experience of about 13 years. She has published over 50 scientific papers including original research articles and review articles in journals of National and International repute. The notable journal in which Dr. Zaidi has published her work includes Plos One, European Journal of Agronomy, European Journal of Soil Biology, Chemosphere, Current Microbiology, Archives of Environmental Contamination & Toxicology, Journal of Plant nutrition & Soil Science, Agronomy for Sustainable Development etc. She has also contributed numerous chapters to different books published by the leading National and International publishers. Dr. Zaidi has also edited six books published by the leading international publishers. Her main focus of research is to address problems related with Rhizo-Microbiology, Agricultural Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, and Biofertilizer Technology.
