Biography
Ghazala Yasmin (born 1973) started her teaching career at AMU in 2003. Her research interest includes Applicable Analysis, Special Functions and Lie Theory. She has published around 31 Research papers in reputed international journals like Reports on Mathematical Physics, J.Math.Anal.Appl. Appl. Math. Comput. and Integral Transforms and Special Functions. She has obtained B.Sc. (Hons.) (1995), M.Sc. Degrees (1997) and Ph. D (2002) from AMU. She is the recipient of National Merit Scholarship (1990-1992), University Fellowship (J.R.F.) (2001-2003), Senior Research Associate ship, CSIR, India (2009-12) and A. K. Agarwal and Bharata Ganita Parisad Prizes. She has served the University in the capacity of the Warden of I.G. Hall, S.N. Hall and New hall for Girls and presently in Begum Sultan Jahan Hall. She is Assistant Superintendent of Exam of ZHCET. She is life members of various Indian Mathematical Societies, and reviewer of Mathematical Reviews, American Mathematical Society, USA. and some national and international journals of Mathematics. Recently she has been awarded the UGC start up grant for further research.
