Biography
Dr. M. Mohsin Khan earned his B.Sc from Bareilly College(Rohilkhand University), Bareilly and M.Sc., M.Phil and Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University. He has also cleared NET in the year 2000. The area of his research is "Experimental High Energy Nuclear and Particle Physics" He has several publications in international journals like PRL,PRC,PRD, Physics Letter B, J.Phys. G.,Euro Physics Journal,JHEP,IJMPE,Acta Physica Polonica, Journal of Physical Society of Japan, Indian Journal of Physics. Dr. Khan also has a number of publications in Conference Proceedings. His teaching career spans about 12 years during which he has taught B.Sc. & M.Sc. classes at the Physics Department, AMU and B.Tech., B.E. & M.Tech. (NanoTechnology) classes at the Department of Applied Physics, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, AMU. He has received many awards/fellowships like DST JRF/SRF, CSIR Pool Scientist. He also has expertise in computer programming(Fortran, C/C++) and Simulation. He is an active member of International Collaboration ALICE at LHC, CERN( European Center for Nuclear Research), Geneva Switzerland and frequently visits there for 2-3 months per year to take part in the ongoing research activities at LHC. He is deeply involved in running of the experiment and physics analysis of the ALICE at CERN. Dr. Khan also has Collaboration with SINP, Kolkata to work for the ALICE. Dr. Khan has Traveled to Greece, Italy, Pakistan, Switzerland and France in connection to his research work.
