Biography

My field of interest is semiconductor devices and condensed matter physics. We are working on the study of the synthesis and modifications of nitride films by swift heavy ion irradiation. We have prepared targets for the thin film deposition by sputtering and pulse laser technique. It is proposed to irradiate thin films by using ion beams from the pelletron accelerator of inter university accelerator, New Delhi. At present we are doing work on VO2 based smart window materials in thin film forms. I have published several research papers in various international journals of repute.I have supervised a student for Ph.D. degree. I have supervised a number of students for their post graduate projects. A research project in the field of condensed matter physics has been sanctioned to me from Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi. I taught Analog electronics, Digital electronics, Microprocessor at post graduate level and Electricity & Magnetism, Electronics, Optics & Electromagnetism, Condensed Matter Physics etc. at graduate level. I was the convener of the syllabus review committee for post graduate and under graduate courses in electronics in the Department of Physics, AMU, Aligarh. I worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of General Sciences, Yanbu Industrial College, KSA and was a member of Technical Evaluation Committee, Quality Assurance Programme and curriculum committee. I have developed a course of physics for the students of geometics engineering students.
