Biography
Dr. Ghulam Mursaleen is Professor in the Department of West Asian Studies and North African Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He has received his entire education up to Ph.D.(Arabic) from A.M.U., Aligarh. He has published four books and forty papers/articles in English, Arabic & Urdu including a paper in 'The Muslim World League Journal', published from Saudi Arabia. He has also attended about 40 Conferences & Seminars and presented papers/articles in India and abroad. He is teaching Modern Arabic Language to Ph.D., M.A. & Diploma students of the Department as well as History & Society to B.A. students. His specialization is 'Arab Biographical Literature' and his research interest is 'Role & Status of Women in Arab World and Muslim Countries'.
