Biography
Dr. Haseeb is graduated from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in the year 1989 and obtained his Masters degree in Statistics in 1991. Subsequently, he enrolled as a Research Student in the Department of Statistics & O.R. and awarded M.Phil. degree in 1994. After completion of his M.Phil. he went abroad on an assignment and returned back in 1998 and rejoined the University as Ph.D. student and completed his Ph.D. (Statistics) in 2000 under the supervision of Professor A.H. Khan on Characterization of Probability Distributions through Order Statistics. He also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from Alagappa University, Karaikudi (TN) in the year 1993. During the course of his study he was awarded PG Merit scholarship and UGC Research Fellowship. Dr. Haseeb also awarded Gold Medal for securing first position in the M.Sc. examination. His area of research interest is Statistical Inference, Order Statistics and Probability Theory and teaching interest is Probability Theory, Statistical Inference, Statistical Methods, Design of Experiments, Sample Surveys, Statistical Computing and Data Analysis. He has got publish several research papers in the peer reviewed journals namely Metron (Italy), Journal of Applied Statistical Science (USA), Journal of Statistical Theory and Applications (USA), Journal of Applied Probability and Statistics (USA), Pakistan Journal of Statistics (Pakistan), Journal of Statistical Research and International Journal of Statistical Sciences (Bangladesh) and Journal of Statistics Applications and Probability (Bahrain). He also contributed to a research book entitled New Development in Applied Statistical Research, edited by Professor M. Ahsanullah and published by NOVA publication USA.He has good experience of Data Analysis and has delivered several invited lectures as a Resource Person in the Workshop on Data Analysis using SPSS organised by UGC Academic Staff College, AMU.
