Biography
I am working as Assistant professor in the Deptt. Of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, (since 2007). Apart from diagnostic and laboratory work, I am also involved in teaching and other departmental academic activities. I teach both undergraduate courses (MBBS, BDS) as well as at postgraduate level (MD, MDS). Although I have experience in all subspecialities of pathology, my interest mainly lies in cytopathology and histopathology of the thyroid gland, especially pre-operative diagnosis of thyroid neoplasms. My academic papers have covered a variety of pathological conditions and have been published in both national and international journals of repute, such as Journal of Cytology, Diagnostic cytopathology and Archives of obstetrics and gynecology.
