Biography
I am working as Professor and Chairman in the Department of Obst. & Gynae, Chief Coordinator of Emergency Obstetrics Care Programme (EmOC) sponsored by Govt. of India. Apart from general Obst. & Gynae. my special interest is Fetal Cardiotochography . I have established Electronic Fetal Monitoring in the Department. I have done my own thesis and guided several M.S. Thesis related to Cardiotochography. I have published several papers in Journals, like Journal of Obst. & Gynae. of India , Journal of U.P. Chapter of Obstetrics & Gynae., Journal of SAFOG (South Asian Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Biomedical Research and Indian Medical Gazzette. In addition to general Obst. Gynae. my teaching interest is management of labour , cardiotochography, high risk pregnancy and emergency obstetrics care.
