Biography
Dr. Maroof Ali, after receiving BSc, MSc from AMU Aligarh. He recieved his PhD Degree in physical chemistry in 2011 from IIT Delhi. After that, he was awarded Dr. DS Kothari Postdoc fellowship to pursue research on Ionic Liquids. His research interest includes study of molecular interactions in Ionic Liquid-based multicomponent solvent systems including phenomenon of Solvatochromism and aggregation of dyes/probes. Further, he is interested in the study of proton transfer phenomena of probes in ILs, and Study of IL-Cavitands/Surfactant interactions, using mainly optical spectroscopic methods (e.g. UV-Vis, Fluorescence and FTIR, etc.).
