Biography
Mohammad Farhan Fazli did Masters in Architecture with specialization in Architectural Conservation from School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), New Delhi one of the Premier institution of the country in 2004.He is serving as Assistant Professor at Aligarh Muslim University since May 2004. Mr. Fazli is the Convener of Signage Committee as well as Heritage Cell of Aligarh Muslim University and trying to restore the unique Heritage Character of the century old University Campus. Since his area of specialization is Architectural Conservation, he has developed an inventory format and involve in listing & documentation of the Heritage buildings of Aligarh Muslim University. As an academician, he is involve in various research projects and is having 42 research papers out of which 12 are published in Journals of repute and rest are presented in various national and international conferences. He is the Visiting Research Assistant to University of Oxford and has presented papers in various countries like America and Iran. In professional field he is the Secretary of Aligarh Architect Association and member of several Architectural Organizations of the country. He is also the member of various committees constituted by the University Administration for the conservation, up-gradation and new construction of buildings at Aligarh Muslim University. At present he is engaged in the Restoration of Jama Masjid, the first Conservation Project at Aligarh Muslim University.
