Biography
I, Mohammad Shameem, is working as Professor, in the department of tuberculosis and respiratory diseases since 29/5/2013. My field of interest is COPD, Asthma, and interventional pulmonology(I received training in interventional pulmonology from Queen Elizabeth Hospital Sabah, Malaysia, sponsored by Asia Pacific Society of Respirology Japan, I was the only candidate selected from whole Asia pacific Region). My research work had been published in reputed international journals like Chest, Eur Resp J, Annals of Thoracic Medicine, Respirology, etc. I received YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD by Government of UP(3rd Highest Honor in the field of Science and Technology, in UP), beside several other national and international award. Selected for Fellowship Royal College of Physicians Edinburg FRCP(Edin.). Only Chest physician and youngest member to receive this honor. Fellowship is the highest category of membership within the RCPE. Successfully organised NAPCON 2014 at Aligarh-Agra as Scientific Secretary.
