Biography
Dr. Mohd Akram is working as Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from AMU, Aligarh. He was awarded Senior Research Fellowship in 1998 by CSIR, New Delhi and in 2000 he was appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, AMU, Aligarh. He has guided nine Ph.D. and one M.Phil. students and presently four Ph.D. students are working under his supervision. He has published 80 research papers in the journals of National and International repute (e.g., Journal of Physical Chemistry, RSC Advances, Int. Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Process Biochemistry, Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, Journal of Luminescence, Journal of Colloid Interface Science, Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry, Colloids and Surfaces A, Colloids and Surfaces B, Colloid Polymer Science, Int. J. Chemical Kinetics, J. Mol. Liq., J. Sol. Chem., J. Surf. Detergents, etc.). He has 16 years of teaching experience of U.G. and P.G. courses. His research interest includes Chemical kinetics, Micellar catalysis, Surfactants in solution, and Solution behaviour of Amphiphiles.
