Biography
Mohd Fareed, PhD, has been Senior Research Fellow at Human Genetics and Toxicology Laboratory, Section of Genetics, Department of Zoology, Faculty of Life Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He has been awarded Senior Research Fellow (SRF), by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, India. He has also qualified the national level Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam in 2013 with 91.37 percentile. He has published research papers in refereed journals including those in PLoS ONE, American Journal of Human Biology, Food Chemistry, Transfusion and Apheresis Science, Genes and Diseases, and Egyptian Journal of Medical Human Genetics
Research Interest
Her main research interests include the following (i) Human genetics/ Clinical genetics (ii) Effects of Inbreeding among humans (iii) Cognitive behavior/ Neurogenetics (iv) Epidemiology, Genetic counseling and Public health
