Biography
Saba Khan is currently working as a teaching faculty in Department of Home Science, AMU since, September 1999. Completed B.Sc. in Home Science from AMU., M.Sc. in Community Resource Management and Extension from Lady Irwin College, D.U. and have been awarded Ph.D at University of Delhi in Home Science on Women Entrepreneurship, entitled- Dynamics of "Pattiwork" and emergence of women entrepreneurship (A study in Aligarh. U.P.). A UGC, NET qualified and working as Assistant Professor in Department of Home Science as a permanent faculty. Teaching interest includes subjects of resource management, Interior decoration, Residential space designing, Development Communication. Research interest revolves around Community, health and Women studies and extension of Community development programmes. Several of the papers have been published in Journals like Indian Journal of Maternal and Child health, Beverages and food world, Behavioral Scientist, Journal of Women studies, Health action, Women's Watch, Women's link, Indian Journal of adult education Journal of region, health and health care. International Journal of physical and Social Science and International Journal of Research in Social Science.
