Saleem Anwar Khan

Biography

Dr. Saleem Anwar Khan is presently working as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Aligarh Muslim University. He completed his Doctoral Degree from Zakir Husain College of Engg. & Tech., Aligarh Muslim University in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics. He has not only taught courses at under-graduate level but also at graduate and postgraduate levels such as Transport Phenomenon and Unit Operations, Heat & Mass Transfer, Basic Fluid Mechanics, Advance Fluid Mechanics etc. He has supervised a number of Projects. He was awarded a research project, with total funding of approx. 19.5 lakh, by DST-SERB-Govt. of India under FAST TRACK YOUNG SCIENTIST scheme in 2012. He is actively involved with students in various extra-curricular activities as well. In addition to his regular academic responsibility, he is also acting as Assistant Training & Placement Officer for ZHCET and also got appointed as Campus Director for Prestigious Hult Prize (USA) 2018. He is also currently supervising a project on Autonomous Underwater Vehicle in which B. Tech. of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Computer Science streams are designing and fabricating a Submarine Prototype which is fully autonomous in its operations capable of working in deep-waters. He was also awarded Bharat Vikas Award-2017 for his contributions in the field of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle. His area of research includes Heat & Mass Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, & Micro-Fluidics etc.Dr. Saleem Anwar Khan is presently working as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Aligarh Muslim University.
