Biography
Dr. Shafeeque Ahmad now is Young Scientist of Council of Science and Technology, U.P. at Interdisciplinary Brain Research Centre (I.B.R.C.), Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, U.P. India. He got his Ph.D. in Biochemistry (F/o Medicine) from Department of Biochemistry, Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He got M.Sc. also in Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India. He has already published couple of papers in international journal of repute. Furthermore, Dr. Ahmad has presented his work in many international and national conferences. Conventions attended/organized: attended national and international conferences; nationally organizing committee member for symposium/conferences. Dr. Ahmad is serving as editorial board member of international journals as well as reviewer of various international journals of repute. And he was invited speaker for different national and international conferences. Achievements: Postdoctoral fellowship by Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh Government, India, predoctoral fellowship by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, and qualified a national level test, Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE), MHRD, Government of India.
Research Interest
His main research interests include Cardiovascular and rheumatoid arthritis diseases chemoprevention. Currently Dr. Shafeeque Ahmad’s researches focus on therapeutic role of natural compounds in rheumatoid arthritis in rats that specially include lipid profile, inflammatory biomarkers, molecular studies along with enzymatic and nonenzymatic antioxidant defense systems.
