Biography
Shamir Hasan is a Professor at the centre of West Asian Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, India. He is M.A in Politics from School of International Studies, JNU and M.Phil and Ph.D from Centre of West Asian Studies, AMU, Aligarh. He has published a Monograph on 'Evolution of Political Zionism' and more than thirty papers in various prestigious Journals namely Proceedings of the Indian History Congress, Social Scientist. He is teaching Politics and Contemporary Political History of West Asia and guiding research on related subjects. He has been Sectional President for 'Countries Other Than India' at the Indian History Congress, Delhi University, 2007
