Biography
Prof. Suhail Sabir after completing his Ph.D joined this University as Lecturer in 1993. He became Senior Lecturer in 1998 and was promoted as Reader in 2003. He became Associate Professor in the year 2006 and was promoted as Professor in 2015.He has since guided 8 students for their Ph.D degree and has published his papers in the journals of International repute. A few publications among the recent are in Journal of Molecular Catalysis, RSC Advances, NJC-RSC and Plos One. Earlier one of his paper was published in the Journal of Hazardous Materials having impact factor of more than 5.1 and one more was published in Bioresource Technology.He has attended 22 international Conferences.He has chaired sessions during an international Conference held in USA.He has delivered a number of invited talks.Presently he guides two students for Ph.D degree.He has completed a major research project in 2012.He has already submitted a joint project with a researcher in Tunisia for funding to Department Of Biotechnology,Govt Of India,New Delhi.Dr.Suhail teaches Environmental Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry.His area of research are Environmental Chemistry and Nano Technology.He also guides interns from University Malaysia Science(UMS) under an MOU for the last 5 years.
