Biography
Dr. Syed Kamran Habib, completed his MBBS in 2002 and MD (Anesthesiology) in 2007, from J.N Medical College, he has worked as clinical registrar, (from 12-11-2007 till 31-08-2010) in Department of Anesthesiology, JNMC, AMU. His particular research oriented focus areas are difficult airway management and pain medicine. In continuation with his focused areas, he joined as guest faculty in Department of oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr.ZA Dental College (From: 01-09-2010 till 31-12-2011.) and subsequently as Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology) ,from 01-01-2011 -Till 13-11-2014. He has joined the Department of Anesthesiology on 14-11-2014, as Assistant professor after the transfer of the post from department of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery to Department Of Anesthesiology. He has published his original research papers in reputed indexed journals as, Asian Archives of Anesthesia, Indian Journal of Pain, Kuwait Medical Journal, British Medical Journal of case reports. His current research is focused on pain Management. During his period of service as consultant anesthesiologist, in Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr.ZA Dental College, he has achieved an important feat of introducing the use of fibreoptic assisted intubation, as an advanced airway management tool to provide general anesthesia, in difficult airway patients scheduled for elective surgery. He has been associated with and is a life member of various national associations like Indian society for study for pain (IASP), Indian society of anesthesia (ISA), Research society of Anesthesia and Pharmacology (RASCP), Indian College of Anesthesiologists (ICA.
