Biography
Syed Noman Ahmad (b 1956) received his M.Phil and Ph.D degrees from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (University of Pune), India. His focus areas have been International Trade and Rural Economics. He has taught several courses to the under graduate and post graduate classes in Pune and A.M.U, Aligarh. He has taught full time courses like Micro Economics, Industrial Economics and History of Economic Thought. He has been actively engaged in guiding research. Five research students have been awarded Ph.D degrees while two have been awarded M.Phil degrees. Presently he is supervising research to several research students. He has several publications to his credit.
