Biography

Born on January 1st, 1962 in Sultanpur, he went to Deoband and successfully completed Fazil and then came to Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh and got admitted in BUMS in 1981, which was successfully completed in 1987. He was selected for MD Kulliyat in 1988, which was completed in 1991 with flying colours. He was appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Kulliyat (Tashreeh Section) in December 1992 and was promoted to Associate Professor in December 2001 in the mean time he discharged the responsibility of Chairman, Department of Tashreeh-Wa-Munafeul Aza. At present he is the Chairman, Department of Tashreehul Badan which was bifurcated from department of Tashreeh-Wa-Munafeul Aza in 2011. He has authored a number of books on Tashreehul Badan and Endocrinology along with a booklet on Principles of Treatment. He is on the editorial Board of National Journals like UNIMED Kulliyat. Actively involved in drafting academic ordinances, curriculum for the UG & PG courses in Unani Medicine. Vast Teaching experience; authored many text books and delivered invited lectures in academic institutions all over India. Citing his proficiency and literary work in Tashreehul Badan (Anatomy) he was given a lion's share in compilation of Standard textual material, in Tashreehul-Badan, to be published by NCPUL (National Council for Promotion Urdu Language) in the process to develop standard textual material, in various disciplines of Unani Medicine, in Urdu language. He also has been an expert in classical Unani terminologies on the panel of CCRUM.
