Biography
Dr. Waseem Rizvi is working as Professor in the Department of Pharmacology J.N. Medical College, A.M. U. Aligarh. He has Seventeen years of teaching and research experience. For the past several years he is actively involved in screening of indigenous plants for biological activities like anti filarial, anti-inflammatory and hepato -protectives.The main focus of his research is to identify and isolate the active principles from the natural sources.He has nineteen publications in various journals like British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology Journal of Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine, Journal of Natural Remedies. Supervised four M.D thesis published a working laboratory manual on experimental and clinical pharmacology.
