Biography
I have studied the antigen toxic role of some natural plant products on anti-cancerous drugs and steroid-induced genotoxic damage in human lymphocytes in vitro and in mice in vivo. I have established Drosophila melanogaster (hsp70-lacZ Bg9) strain as a laboratory animal model to study the toxic effects of various environmental agents and also the fly model for various neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson and Alzheimers. Some selected journals in which the work has been published are Toxicology Letters, Toxicology in vitro, Chemico Biological Interactions, Human and Experimental Toxicology, Life Sciences, Journal of Natural Medicines, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Journal of Applied Biomedicine, Fitoterapia, Natural Products Research, Experimental and Toxicologic Pathology, Drug and Chemical Toxicology, Journal of Dietary Supplements, International Journal of Neurosciences. At present I have four major research projects (DST, ICMR, UGC and UPCST). I have published eighty four research papers, eleven reviews, seven chapter in books and two books. The citation of publication is 655 with an h-index of 15
