Biography
An M.Com (Utkal), PGDM (XIMB), PhD (Utkal) having 15 years academic experience and another 15 years industry experience. Before joining Alliance University, worked as Associate Professor for three years in ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad and two years in JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. A major part of industry experience of 15 years includes five years in Office of the Accountant General of Orissa and seven years in JK Corp Limited, the leading manufacturer of paper in India. Have conducted around 20 MDPs in sub-functional areas of Budget & Budgetary Control, Internal Audit, Financial Statement Analysis, Working Capital Management and Financial Control & Reporting System in different parts of the country. Wide exposure in consulting assignments mostly in SME sector involving Accounts Finalization, Project Viability Study, Inventory Management and ISO Certification. Have done Project Financing of ten projects in SME sector amounting Rs.30 crores. Research publications are in variety of areas namely Microfinance, Working Capital Management, Security Market, and Entrepreneurship with a focus on case based empirical studies.
