Biography
Amala Cancer Hospital, with its humble beginning in 1978 has grown into Amala Institute of Medical Sciences in 2003. There are 100 seats for MBBS Course. PG Courses started in 2011. There are 42 seats for broad specialities. Superspeciality PG courses were started in 2013 with two seats in DM Cardiology and one seat in M.Ch. Neurosurgery. Amala is blessed with state-of-the-art infrastructure and brilliant staff and has developed stringent standards in the field of medical education, health care and research. Value added education programmes for students are conducted regularly with a view to make them forward looking, dedicated, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and service-minded doctors.
