Biography
Dr. Haroon Irshad currently serves as Assistant Professor in the department of Samhita, Sanskrit & Siddhanta, Amrita School of Ayurveda. He completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in 2008 and MD in Ayurveda Siddhanta in 2011 from RGUHS, Bangalore. He joined Amrita School of Ayurveda on August 2011. He had presented a Scientific paper titled “Application of the Concept of Vivarta Vada in Atatwabhinivesha” at Sthaapana- a National level seminar on Fundamentals of Ayurveda organised by Department of Basic Principles, KLE’s Sri BMK Ayurved mahavidyalaya, Shahapur, Belgaum from 29th- 30th january 2010. Dr. Haroon has attended various national, international conferences and Continuing medical education (CME) on Ayurveda. He is a recognized U. G. Examiner of various universities. He has also delivered guest lecturers in various institutions on different topics.
