S. Anand

Biography

Dr. Anand S. currently serves as Assistant Professor and Chairperson of Amritadarshanam – International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Amritapuri campus. He joined Amrita after completion of his Ph.D. in Sanskrit (Vedanta) from the University of Kerala. He also teaches Sanskrit, Philosophy, Psychology, Cultural Education and other Humanities Electives, to both Undergraduate and Post graduate students. He works in curriculum development of Master’s programs in Humanities like Masters in Philosophy. He provides regular evening Sanskrit classes to both Indian and International residents of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. He also co-ordinates spiritual camps for students from different International universities, like Columbia, at Amrita University.
