Biography

Dr. Anbuudayasankar S. P. received his Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore in 2011. His dissertation was titled, Unified Heuristics for a Class of Complex and Practical Routing Problems in Logistics, which won the best thesis award at the Fourth Conference on Global Advances and Innovations in IT and Management in Gwalior. He holds M. E. in Industrial Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, M. B. A. from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and B. E. in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 1995. He is having 12 years of teaching experience in various engineering colleges. He joined AMRITA in 2004 as lecturer and promoted as Associate professor in 2011. He served as NSS Program Officer for three years in Amrita School of Engineering and NSS Program Coordinator for three years for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Dr. Anbuudayasankar has published twelve research articles in international journals, ten at international conferences and six at national conferences. He has also written a Chapter in the book published by IGI Global Publishers and a white paper for the University of Sheffield, UK. In addition, he has published two special issues in International Journals as the Guest editor of Inderscience Publishers and Chief and Associate Editor of Two International Journals of Serial Publications. He is a reviewer for many journals of the journals like European Journal of Operational Research (an Elsevier Publication), OMEGA – The Journal of Management Science, International Journal of Systems Sciences (IJSS) – Taylor and Francis Publishers, International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalization (IJLEG) – Inderscience Publishers, International Journal of Value Chain Management (IJVCM) – Inderscience Publishers, International Journal of System Dynamics and Application (IJSDA) – IGI Global Publishers, etc. He has attended several International and National Workshops organized by premier Industries and Institutions. He has chaired few International and National Conferences and jury for the academic competitions and been a guest speaker for numerous times. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
