Biography
Dr. Chandrashekar Janakiram joined the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Amrita in November 2004. He received his Ph. D. in Community Dentistry from Amrita University in 2012. He completed his graduation from Bangalore University and postgraduation from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Dr. Chandrashekar was awarded first rank for Masters Program in Dental Public Health in the specialty of community dentistry (M. D. S.) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. His areas of interest include Oral Epidemiology, Health Care System Analysis and Clinical Bioethics. Before joining Amrita, Dr. Chandrashekar worked as Professor in the Department of Community Dentistry, K. L. E. Institute of Dental Sciences Bangalore. He has several publications in national and international journals to his credit.
