Biography
Dr. A. Ramaswamy Iyengar has worked as lecturer in Sanskrit since 1971, Served as Teacher Fellow Center of Advanced Study in Sanskrit, University of Poona, 1977-80. He has served as Reader and HOD of Sanskrit, NMKRV College, Bangalore, 1980-89 and as Associate Editor, Encyclopedic Sanskrit Dictionary Project, Deccan College Post Graduate Research Institute, Pune, 1989-91. He worked as Principal and Professor of Sanskrit, SSMRV College, 1992-97. He was also the Director of Chinmaya International Foundation, M.G.University, Kottayam, Kerala, 1997-2003; he is also Director of Vidyasagara Prof. M. P. L. Sastri, Indological Library and Research Center, MES College, Bangalore, since 2004
