Biography
Dr. Jaya Shankar Mund is working as Professor in the Department of Samhita, Sanskrit & Siddhanta, Amrita School of Ayurveda. He completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery in 1996 from Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Puri under Utkal University, M. D. (Ayurveda) Ayurvediya Siddhanta evum Darshanam (Basic principles) in 2002 from Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram and awarded with Ph. D. in 2008 from I. P. G. T. & R. A. Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar. He is having 13 years of UG and 4 years of PG teaching experience. He is a registered examiner for UG, PG and PhD in various universities of India. He has delivered many guest lectures on Basic principles of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Research Methodology. He has attended National Integration camp in Thiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu and National Disaster relief camp in Bhubaneshwar, Odisa. He was awarded with many excellence prizes during college study for sports and cultural activities. He is the recognized PG and PhD guide of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the School of Ayurveda. Many departmental projects are going on under his expert guidance.
