Biography
Dr. Shyam Nath currently serves as Adjunct Professor at the School of Business, Amritapuri. His research interests and publications are in the field of public finance, development economics and environmental and natural resource economics. He has published extensively and presented several papers in international conferences. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience at University level in India and abroad and 20 years of active participation in consultancy and research for national and regional governments and international agencies (UNDP, UNCDF, The World Bank, UNU/WIDER, USAID, UNRISD, ECA, AERC, Commonwealth Secretariat). He is presently engaged in a research project "Globalization, Climate Change and Urban Public Finance" as ICSSR Senior Fellow. The project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India).
