Biography
Dr. Manju joined the Department of Prosthodontics and Implantology at Amrita in 2004. She completed her B. D. S. and M. D. S. degrees from Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram. Before joining Amrita School of Dentistry, she worked as Senior Lecturer at Azzizia Dental College, Kollam from August 2004 - October 2004. She has over 9 years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and clinics. In September 2008, Dr. Manju received the 'Creative Circle Award' for recent innovations in maxillofacial prosthetics at the International Society for Maxillofacial Rehabilitation (ISMR) Conference held in Bangkok. She is an invited faculty for various national and international conferences. She has conducted many hands-on workshops in maxillofacial prosthetics. In 2012, Dr. Manju was invited as the Young Star Speaker at the Indian Prosthodontics Society and Asian Academy of Prosthodontics Conference at Chennai. She has published papers in national and international journals. She is currently pursuing her Ph. D. from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on the topic, Clinical Application of Tissue Engineering for Bone Augmentation and Endosseous Dental Implants.
