Biography
Sandeep Koundinya currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Bengaluru campus. He worked as Senior Design Engineer in Product Engineering department at WEG industries India Pvt Ltd, Hosur for 3 years. He was responsible for offering quality rotating machines at a competitive price.He was a QCC (Quality control circle) member responsible for various quality improvement programs in the factory. He has registered for part time PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru on 6th February 2016 under the guidance of Dr. Rakesh S. G., Associate Dean & Head, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru. Sandeep Koundinya have developed spreadsheet for determining the exact load on the bearings in the enquiry stage. He was also involved to prepare technical spreadsheets to speed up the current process. He was awarded the title, ‘The Best Outgoing Student (2006-2010) for overall performance’ with a gold medal at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. He has published papers in international journals and conferences. He has also filed an Indian Patent.
