Biography
Dr. Rajiv Kakkar did his ‘Licentiate in Medicine and Surgery’ in 1984 from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Madrid. He completed his ‘Doctor in Medicine’ in 1987 from Spain itself. He is associated with Amritsar Eye Clinic since 1995. As a physician, he tackles all emergencies that may arise at the centre, and is also responsible for medical check-up of patients selected for surgery. He is an expert in ophthalmic imaging and contributes significantly to Fundus photography, Angiography and Optical Coherence Tomography. Dr. Rajiv Kakkar is also involved in data selection and analysis in Refractive surgery. He has contributed to a number of scientific and research papers presented in regional conferences and international symposia.
