Biography
Appointed as Executive Director vide notification F. No.4/5/2013 – BO-I dated 13.03.2015 for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier U/s 9(3)(a) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980, read with sub clause (1) of clause 3 and sub clause (1) of clause 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980. He joined Union Bank of India in Scale IV cadre in 2001 and worked till 12th March 2015. During his career in UBI was elevated upto General Manager cadre. He assumed charge as Executive Director in Andhra Bank on 13th March, 2015. He was a Director on the Board of Swift India Domestic Services Pvt. Ltd., on behalf of Union Bank of India. He was a member of Technical Advisory Committee of NPCI / SWIFT India & Star Union Daichi Insurance Company. He has attended trainings organized by Reserve Bank of India, National Institute of Bank of Management and also training abroad.
