Biography
Nilesh Vani is the Chief Strategy & IT Officer at Aptech. He brings more than 15 years of experience across various business lines of Aptech, strong analytical skills and keen intellect to his role as the head of Strategy& IT. A Metallurgical Engineer from IIT, Bombay and a management graduate from IIM, Bangalore, Nilesh has had an illustrious career spanning 23 years. Prior to joining Aptech, he has worked in organizations such as Blow Plast Limited, Femina Hygienical Products (Nigeria) and TVS Electronics. Nilesh has ably represented Aptech at various government and industry bodies such as Education Task Force of the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, CII, PHD-Chamber of Commerce and International CRMConference 2000. He is a keen follower of business and social happenings across the world through the use of electronic media. He is a recipient of Institute Silver Medal awarded by IIT, Bombay in 1986 and Vidya Bharati Prize for 1987 awarded by Indian Institute of Metals, Calcutta. Nilesh has also been instrumental in Aptech winning APEX Excellence Award for Learning Services for two consecutive years in 2008-09 and 2009-10.
