Dr. Vishal Sehgal

Biography

Dr. Vishal Sehgal, MBBS, DNB, PGDHHM serves as Head of Emergency & Trauma Services and Medical Superintendent at Artemis Medicare Services Limited (Artemis Health Institute). Dr. Sehgal has over sixteen years of experience in Healthcare - in Clinical Practice and Hospital Administration. He has been associated with Artemis Hospitals in various capacities, since the project stage of the hospital. Dr. Sehgal served with Max Healthcare. Dr. Sehgal is an expert in the field of Trauma and Emergency Medical care. He has been involved in some very complex case management of mass casualties, polytrauma, cardiac and non-cardiac emergencies. He has an extensive experience in air evacuation (domestic and international) and road transportation of very complex cases. He has a special interest in Clinical Quality and has spearheaded the ISO, NABH and JCI accreditation programmes. He is a certified trainer in Adult and Paediatric Life Support Systems. He has been awarded the Scroll of Honour and the Distinguished Services Award, by the Delhi Medical Association (DMA). His Professional Memberships Include: Indian Orthopaedic Association, Delhi Orthopaedic Association, Delhi Medical Association, Association For Trauma Care In India (ATCI) and Society For Emergency Medicine,India (SEMI). Dr. Sehgal graduated from Rabindranath Tagore Medical College, Udaipur and DNB Orthopaedics training from DDU Hospital, New-Delhi. He also has a Post Graduation in Hospital and Healthcare Management from Symbiosis University, Pune.
