Biography
Scott Dixon is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Ashoka University. He earned his Ph.D. in philosophy in 2015 from the University of California, Davis. He was a visiting Ph.D. student in the School of Philosophy at The Australian National University from June to August 2014. He received his M.A. in philosophy from the University of Wyoming in 2008 and his B.A. in philosophy from the University of Montana in 2005. Scott's primary research interest is in metaphysics, particularly in grounding. He also has interests in logic (especially plural logic and infinitary logic) and the philosophy of mathematics.
