Biography
Dr. H V Shivaram is a Chief Surgeon & Senior Consultant - GI & Bariatric Surgery in Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. He is one of the renowned GI and Bariatric surgeons in the country and has pioneered many projects in the medical field and has numerous publications to his credit. Over the years, he gained expertise in Laparoscopic surgery, pancreatic surgery, Gastro-intestinal surgery, and bariatric/ metabolic surgery. After completing his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, 1982, he went on to pursue MS - General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, 1991. Dr. H V Shivaram was the University Gold medallist in masters of surgery examinations and has been recognized many times for his contribution to the medical field. Dr. H V Shivaram has received his medical training from leading institutions of our country and also from UK, USA & Germany. He has served in the Army Medical Corps and prior to Aster CMI, he was associated with Columbia Asia Bangalore, St Philomena’s Hospital, Mallya Hospital and Lakeside Hospital.
