He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a Member of the Investment Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Board. Mr Baijal was the Chairman and CEO of ICI India Ltd from 1983 to 1987. Mr Baijal holds a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry from Allahabad University.
