Biography
Dr. Mark G. Bock joined Aurigene as scientific advisor on May 1, 2013. Mark holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Georgia (Prof. R.K. Hill) and carried out Post-doc studies at the Harvard University (Prof. E.J. Corey). He worked for 29 years at Merck (1976-2005) and 8 years atNovartis, as Executive Director, Global Discovery Chemistry. Mark has led a number of very successful Drug Discovery programs, working with and managing teams across the world. In his role at Novartis, he was instrumental in establishing and prosecuting numerous productive discovery collaborations with companies in India, China, Russia, UK and Germany. Mark is an author/co-author of more than 125 publications in peer-reviewed journals and an inventor of more than 80 issued US patents.
