Biography
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT Glen Minyard oversees research and development for the company. Glen has 30+ years of experience in design and construction of more than 5,000 photovoltaic (PV) power plants globally. He has overseen the installation of a wide range of residential and large-scale commercial power systems – photovoltaic, wind, and hybrid electrical. Previously, Glen was the President of Minyard Solar Electric, Willits, CA. Before that he managed engineering and production at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden, Colorado. Glen is a recognized thought leader in PV system design, specializing in solar electric equipment for remote homes, telecom and large industries. Glen holds an associate degree in electronic technology from College of the Redwoods, California and is a Certified CA electrical contractor.
