Biography

Dr. Raman Ramachandran is the Chairman & Managing Director of BASF Companies in India. In addition to this, he is the Head of BASF in South Asia, with Group Companies in Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh reporting to him. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Senior Vice President,Crop Protection, Asia Pacific, responsible for leading the Crop Protectionbusiness forBASF in the region, based in Singapore. Dr. Ramachandran carries a Master of Science and a PhD in Agriculture and has over 25 years of diversified experience in research, operations, new market development and strategic planning.
