Mr. Sai D. Prasad

Biography

 Sai Prasad has 20 years of progressive experience in the United States and India in Biological sciences, Strategic planning, Project management, Business Development etc. He has expertise in basic science research (molecular biology, cell biology, human genetics, cell culture), good laboratory practices good manufacturing practices etc. He has received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin and his M.B.A in Finance and Marketing from the University of Iowa. He has more than a dozen publications in the areas of Human Genetics, cell biology, Molecular Biology and Vaccines. Previously he was the Operational Head of Molecular Otolaryngology Research Laboratories at the University of Iowa which conducted clinical diagnostics and basic science research in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics. In his current role since 2004 at Bharat Biotech he oversees several departments including Business Development, Project Management, Information Systems, and Global strategic initiatives. He has been responsible for the development, structuring and execution of new projects and initiatives within India and abroad. He has significant management experience in product development and commercialization of vaccines and biologics. Sai Prasad brings a unique blend of skills, knowledge and expertise bridging science to business, bridging global cultures.
