Biography
Mr. Prabhu brings a rich experience in Banking and Finance. He served the Banking industry for 38 years before retiring as the Chairman and Managing Director of Canara Bank. He has achieved several milestones in his career as a banker and also served as Chairman of many other institutions like Canbank Venture Capital Fund, Canbank Factors Limited, and Canfin Homes Limited. Mr. Prabhu held the position of Director in various prestigious Institutions, including IBRD Limited & Indo-Suez Himalayan Fund NV, Amsterdam and also served as Deputy Chairman of the Indian Banks’ Association. He serves as an independent director on the board of a few select companies and is the Chairman of Bigtec Private Limited
